Grand Traverse Area Right to Life is a local affiliate of Right to Life of Michigan, serving Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benzie, Kalkaska, Wexford and Antrim counties.

WHO WE ARE

Nonpartisan, nonsectarian and local

We are a nonprofit of diverse and caring people united to peacefully protect the precious gift of human life from fertilization to natural death. Our work is part of a coordinated effort with Right to Life of Michigan. Together we stand up and stand firm for the protection of innocent human life.

We provide factual information on abortion, infanticide, assisted suicide and euthanasia to help educate local citizens on the life issues relevant today.

We take part in the legislative process so laws are passed on behalf of defenseless and vulnerable human beings, born and unborn.

We build community among fellow pro-life citizens to educate, build fraternity and network, and to find support for events throughout the year.

We are involved in the political arena so we can elect officials who will protect innocent members of our human family.

OUR MISSION

We strive to achieve the passage and ratification of a Human Life amendment, to educate people on Right to Life issues, and to motivate them into action.

We encourage community support for programs and legislation that foster respect for human life, and we promote pro-life candidates. We support only peaceful, legal activities as a means to restoring legal protection to the preborn and other defenseless human beings. We work on behalf of the defenseless and vulnerable, born and unborn, on the issues of abortion, infanticide, euthanasia and assisted suicide.
